Hole "Fall" 340 Yards Par 4 Handicap: 4 Difficulty Ranking: 6
Maybe the most scenic of all the holes at Concord from the tee, don't admire too much. This sweeping right to left 4 par commands your attention and may intimidate those who have the words 'S _ _ P H _ _ K' in their game. Sandwiched in between the back nine 3 pars, you do not want to bail right, a '5' is almost assured. Many of the brethren have trouble choosing the correct club off of the tee, but the real challenge is the approach. Even from the fairway, this hole requires a high, soft approach over 'Christmas in October,' the pine that guards any shot from the right side of the fairway (or those approaching from the 8th hole). A bit of advice... if you can put some goo on the ball, play it off the back slope of the green and bring it back to the ever present, front middle pin... as if we are that good! |
